Local Information

Coast/Beach: local beaches (Malaga) are 30 mins drive away. If you prefer Fuengirola its a 45 minutes drive. There is a Water Park, Theme Parks, and a Zoo. In Torremolinos, a 40 min drive, there is another Water Park and a Crocodile Park. Walking, cycling, climbing is very popular in Alora because of El Chorro with the lakes rocks and gorges. Pottery classes, horse ridding and quad biking can also be arranged - please ask for info.

Golf
All with in 35 mins drive.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada is 2 hours drive away.

Special interest holidays: Riding in the rural mountainside of Andalucia. Three hours riding per day, lunch included, five days a week Monday to Friday 225 pounds a week or 50 pounds per day. All our horse's carry insurance, however you are responsible for your own holiday and riding insurance (a policy to cover supervised hacking will normally be sufficient). We do not provide safety hats. Our guests should be intermediate riders (ie: you are not a beginner or lacking in confidence). Children need to be accompanied by an adult. Weight limit is 85 kilos.

Distances: Alora is 5 min car drive away Pizarra is 10 min car drive. El Chorro is 20 min car drive away.
